Ms. Vu Thu Trang (Special Counsel)

Ms. Trang is the special counsel of the firm and practices in areas of corporate, finances, insurance, investment, banking – finance, M&A and employment. Gaining intensive experiences in insurance business after more than 10 years working as a senior official at Insurance Supervision Authority (ISA) of the Ministry of Finance, she adds more value to quality of the firm’s advice concerning all aspects of insurance business practices.

Ms. Trang graduated from the top law schools in Vietnam with a LLB at Hanoi Law University and a LLM at Vietnam National University – The School of Law. Having knowledge in both legal and insurance industries, Ms. Trang is capable of providing a number of specialized services for specific insurance business or transactions. At ENT Law, Ms. Trang advises on (i) dossiers and procedures for application for incorporation and necessary licenses and approvals for the operation of insurance enterprises, brokers and agents; (ii) consulting on corporate governance for insurance enterprises (e.g., developing business processes, internal regulations, and legal compliance), (iii) drafting insurance contracts for insurers, organizations and individuals wishing to participate in insurance such as property insurance, construction insurance, liability insurance, etc.; and (iv) advising on insurance claims settlement documents and procedures and representing insurers, organizations and individuals in the process of insurance claims settlement, settlement of claims of all types of life and non-life insurance such as technical property insurance, personal accident insurance, professional liability insurance, marine hull insurance and civil liability of ship-owners, fishing vessels, and cargo insurance, etc.

Apart from acting as legal counsel for insurance businesses, Ms. Trang also joins us in advising daily business and operations of enterprises, both domestic and foreign-invested ones in Vietnam.
