An internal labor regulation is considered as a legal framework governing the behaviors and activities within an enterprise, and is an important tool in human resource management. As from January 1st, 2021, since the Labor Code 2019 has officially taken effect, the promulgation of internal labor regulations is currently considered as a mandatory obligation of enterprises. In addition, drafting and updating internal labor regulations also experience remarkable changes compared to the 2012 Labor Code. As a result, in order to help enterprises to fully update these contents, this article shall summarize specific instructions in drafting and updating internal labor regulations in accordance with new regulations in the 2019 Labor Code and its related guiding documents.
